“We have heard many stories that happened during this pandemic. While most stories made us grieve, there are some tales that made us smile. Indeed, we are in a time of uncertainty.
The resumption of some businesses, entertainment venues, workplaces, and public transportation is a clue that we are going back to where we were. While it may take some time, we are willing to wait while doing our part to be healthy and keeping our loved ones safe from the illness.
You must have heard of families affected by COVID 19 because of a member bringing home the virus. This can happen to your family if one of the members has gone back to work. Workers are naturally susceptible to infection when their work involves dealing with people. All workers should be very cautious when they are out of their workplace not to contract the disease while they are elsewhere.
To ensure that you are not bringing home the virus, workers should pay attention to these tips.
Observe Basic Health Protocols in the Workplace
You should be wearing a mask, face shield, or eyeglasses. If possible, you should also wear ecological gloves. Make sure that you’re your mask is effective.
Aside from those safety gear, always maintain social distancing as much as possible and sanitize or wash your hands.
Ask for Disinfection of Your workplace
Before the resumption of work in many companies, workplaces were disinfected. You can ask your bosses to do the same before entering your workplace. If the company does not support this, you can disinfect devices that you usually use.
Minimize borrowing things. You should also avoid areas where the direction of the wind from cooling is going.
Buy from Stores That Practice Safety Measures
You may be buying things to bring home. It helps if you go to stores that practice social distancing, do not allow customers without face masks, and with disinfectant for shoes and sanitizers for the hands.
Don’t Use Public Transportation
As much as possible, don’t ride on public vehicles. You may never know if the car is disinfected or not. Moving air can also help transport the virus. If you cannot avoid it, it may be better to sit in front.
Disinfect Before Going Inside Your Home
If you are using a disposable mask, throw it straight to the garbage bin outside your home. You can also make a make-shift enclosure where you can change your clothes and put them directly to a basin with water and detergent. Disinfect also your shoes and spray sanitizer on your body before going inside.
It is best to employ extra precautions during this pandemic not only for ourselves but also for our family.
